Sandyholme Holiday Park is close to the shingle beaches at Lulworth Cove (approx 11 miles), Durdle Door (approx 11 miles) and Ringstead Bay (approx 6 miles), and to the sandy beaches at Studland Bay (approx 20 miles) and Weymouth (approx 10 miles). The Coastal Path winds along some of the most breath-taking scenery in the whole of England.

The historic Dorset towns of Dorchester (approx 9 miles), Poole (approx 21 miles) and Weymouth (approx 10 miles) are within easy driving distance. Day visits to Corfe Castle and the Model Village, Swanage Railway, Kingston Lacy House, Wimborne Minster, Compton Acres, Lulworth Castle and Thomas Hardy's Cottage are all popular with our visitors. Warmwell Leisure Resort (approx 1.5 miles) offers a range of facilities to keep the whole family busy all day long. Enjoy some waves and the flume in the indoor pool or take to the slopes and try skiing or snow boarding at the Snowflex Ski Slope.

Local museums include the Dorset County Museum, Bovington Tank Museum and the Dorchester Dinosaur Museum.

Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the country parks at Weymouth, Durlston and Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour. Animal lovers must visit Monkeyworld, Weymouth Sea Life Centre and the Abbotsbury Swannery
